And although the amounts of micronutrients – as the name suggests – that the body needs to function properly are relatively small, it is not at all difficult to become deficient in the diet.
Deficiency and excess of macro- and micronutrients can lead to serious dysfunction and health problems. An improperly balanced diet can also cause problems with body shape and weight.
