Are you thinking about catering? You don’t have time to cook, you don’t like doing it or maybe you just have a problem with balancing your diet properly? We disenchant diet catering!

Why is it so important to balance your diet?

What we mean by a balanced diet is the right proportions of macronutrients, i.e. proteins, fats and carbohydrates, and micro-nutrients – vitamins and minerals. Each of these fractions is of great importance for the proper functioning of the human body

Correct proportions of macronutrients are determined by estimating the percentage of energy obtained from them. Carbohydrates should make up between 45% and 75% of the calories consumed (preferably about 55%), fats – between 20% and 35%, and proteins – between 10% and 20%. Keeping in mind that there are practically no “pure” macronutrients in food (although, of course, there are many foods with a predominance of a particular fraction), balancing a diet can be a real challenge for those who do not like kitchen experiments

Micronutrients are also important. Many people forget about them, focusing on “balancing the macro”, and yet a deficiency of calcium, iron, vitamin D3 or vitamin A can be disastrous for the body. And although the amounts of micronutrients – as the name suggests – that the body needs to function properly are relatively small, it is not at all difficult to become deficient in the diet.

Deficiency and excess of macro- and micronutrients can lead to serious dysfunction and health problems. An improperly balanced diet can also cause problems with body shape and weight. If you have problems with proper preparation of your menu, it will certainly be good for you to take professional help – it may be a visit to a dietician or buying diet catering.

How does diet catering work?

In a nutshell: you order a program, and someone else prepares balanced meals for you. You do not have to worry about the content of macro- and micro-nutrients, caloric content, appropriate proportions, and in addition you do not shop or cook.

This mode of eating will certainly suit the busy, but also those who do not enjoy planning their diet or have trouble preparing it properly in relation to their needs. You can take advantage of the catering offer for example here: https://hfood.pl/catering-dietetyczny-lodz/, choosing one of the thirteen variations of the proposed diets. It can be a reduction diet, if you want to lose a few pounds, a plant-based diet, if you do not eat animal products or even a diet for pregnant women. Try it and you may find that you will love catering!
